WELCOME FROM YOUR SUMMIT HOST!

Why Attend?

Are you missing birthday parties and family gatherings pouring over your Anatomy textbooks?

Or did you graduate recently and you're ready to leap forward in your career?

Do you practice medicine in the Caribbean? Or did you migrate to specialize but remain invested in healthcare in the region? Welcome to the 2024 Caribbean Medical Professionals’ Summit!

Whether you're:

a future doctor looking to get a headstart on understanding your best career options in a rapidly changing world

a young medical professional who wants to stop feeling stuck at work and become the best you can be

or a seasoned professional looking to elevate your success, meet other successful peers, network, and establish a better work-life balance

CAMPS will provide you the blueprint, space, and time to do so.

You spend so much time focusing on caring for others.
At CAMPS, we're focusing on your development and wellness.

Saturday + Sunday at CAMPS
Take time out for clarity, a career strategy, and holistic transformation.

CAMPS was curated for you, if:

You’re craving CAREER OPTIONS

Our speakers will share their expert blueprints on how to achieve balance in your career and life; design a career that plays to your temperament; pursue specialization in North America and the United Kingdom; and even have a hybrid career where you work in multiple geographical regions simultaneously.

Our speakers, in particular, are focused on the future of medicine, and will ensure you understand how to plan your career based on future patient needs and technological advancements.

You need to TAKE CARE OF YOU

You’ve never made a career plan or a life plan. You've pushed through burnout and anxiety year after year. You’ve never paused to think about your personal story and how you can leverage it to open doors for you right now. Although you think of yourself as someone who values continual improvement, besides spending on your degree, you’ve never invested in your personal development, even when you’ve felt overwhelmed and stuck. Our speakers will ensure you not only give yourself a "check-up", but also reset and move forward with complete clarity about how to experience holistic wellness while maximizing career success.

You want MENTORSHIP and A NETWORK

You know medicine. But you also know that your biggest career breakthroughs will come not from what you know but from who you know (and who knows you). Every aspect of CAMPS--from the layout of our spaces to the mainstage content and skills sessions--is designed to have you learning from, interacting with, and even establishing relationships with like-minded colleagues and powerful leaders in medicine.

Event Agenda

VIP Pre-Event

Friday

6:30pm - 9:30 pm

  • Say hello to our renowned speakers, network with your colleagues, and get a headstart on registration while overlooking Kingston's evening sky at our VIP Mixer. Noshes and sips included.

DAY 1

Saturday

7:30am - 5:30pm

  • You're going to walk away from our first full day having learned about how to achieve mental wellness and a balanced career, as well as the human resource needs in medicine in the Caribbean and how you position yourself to fill them.
  • You'll receive blueprints from those who have done it: on how to design a hybrid career in the Caribbean and other geographies, or how to become a world-class physician through U.S. residency and fellowship training.
  • You'll be excited about your afternoon skills sessions; you get to choose the one you attend, and you'll sit with experts you otherwise could not access (or would pay thousands to access), for over an hour of intimate knowledge and skills transfer.

  • Elevate (VIP) ticket holders will be served at a seated private lunch with our speakers and sponsors, in addition to morning and afternoon coffee breaks.

DAY 2

Sunday

7:30am - 5:30pm

  • The future belongs to those who are best prepared for it. Our second full day is focused on the future of medicine--from patterns in pathologies and patient needs you can craft your career around, to the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Medicine and how to ensure you're irreplaceable for years to come.
  • You'll also receive more blueprints for hybrid training and career options, brought to you by experts in the Canadian and U.K. Graduate Medical Education systems.
  • Then you'll close out the day with any powerful skills session you choose.
  • Elevate (VIP) ticket holders will be served at a seated private lunch with our speakers and sponsors, in addition to morning and afternoon coffee breaks.
